the FIIE!
January 14th, 2010
Why A Festival?
T o discover artists whose environment is the subject of their creative thinking.
To raise public awareness of sustainable development issues by the vector of artistic creation.
In recent years the supply of photographic subjects on the environmental theme is recurrent and increasingly important, but rarely present in the galleries. No general theme has been proposed on this subject.
The art of living through that time and their news. This vision is sensitive because it is often a precursor influences to come.
Duty together in one place, different looks, on a subject became increasingly hot, over recent years has seemed obvious.
The International Festival of Environmental Image (FIIE) was thus born under the impulse of Delphine Gamblin, curator, photographer, former artistic director of photo agencies, and founder of Black Box Association, producer of FIIE.
It is designed as an annual event, as part of the French cultural landscape.
The FIIE is produced entirely under the standards set by environmental protection labels and verified by WWF.
The Festival
The company as institutions or associations are not in need to inform us about problems related to environmental issues.
The information exists and is found more frequently and increasingly documented. But the issue of FIIE is primarily to offer a wide audience through the prism of the artistic image, and a sensitive awareness.
Art in the information medium.
The purpose of festval is being extended to the provinces and abroad. According to the places where it is received, it may take many forms and involve different interactions with the place and the public.
The Events
In addition to opening to the public during the day, an art event to federate must offer a number of parties and events that will enable professionals and artists to communicate and receive their audience.
